Each rectangular piece holds 3 quarts of seed, mealworms, fruit, or suet nuggets, and a rolled rim at the top of each offers perching spots for a few birds. A perforated base on each provides drainage for fresh and dry seed, while an included cover grid can help discourage larger birds from dining or tossing seed. Remove this piece to allow more animals to dine. The units each have an included hanger for placement on a hook or bracket, or can be placed in the ground using their included stakes. An integrated socket in the center of each accommodates a 1" outer diameter pole (not included) for even more placement options.
