This handy gauge indicates the pH in your water with a center color strip, which alters as the acidity fluctuates. Each value of alkalinity or acidity from 5.2 to 8.6 corresponds with a different color, indicated on the gauge itself. Match the color of the strip in the center of the item to one of the surrounding color bands to obtain an accurate pH reading. The meter affixes to the glass of your aquarium with the included suction cup, or hangs in your pond with the included lanyard. The active monitor should be replaced every four to six weeks to remain viable, and this package includes two additional active monitors, for a three month supply.
