Its energy efficient motor is specifically designed for continuous use, with a ceramic shaft and bearings. The robust motor remains thermally protected, and has no oil for the safety of your plants and fish. Made from non-corrosive housing in a versatile structure, this hardy pump ensures safe, efficient operation in your waterscape.

This Pondmaster Hy-Drive Submersible Pump is perfect for powering large waterfalls, streams, or fountains, and its unique design makes it applicable in a bevy of situations. The front of the unit has a sturdy plastic screen, protecting it from debris when submerged. This screen may be removed so the item can be placed inline, running tubing to its threaded inlet. The wide, plastic base keeps the pump stable on a level surface, and its top, 1 1/2� MNPT outlet and included fittings accommodate a wealth of tubing options. For optimal performance, a minimum of 2" ID tubing must be used. The included, rotating connector can also be attached to the top outlet, allowing you to direct your water in a myriad of ways without restricting its flow. The low silhouette allows the unit to be placed in a skimmer for added protection from debris, or the item may be placed in the included pump bag when installed directly in your feature. Gallons Per Hour (GPH) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
