Monitoring temperature in different areas can help keep you comfortable and safe, and using a thermometer is a great way to accurately do so. Thermometers are designed to measure the temperature in a specific area, and can be designed for use in a myriad of applications. Grilling and barbecue thermometers help you cook your chicken or beef to the perfect temperature, and many even have remote sensors so you may socialize while the food is cooking. Many include probes to check the internal temperatures of food, and others are designed to remain in your oven to check its heat level. Galileo thermometers use globes filled with liquids of different densities inside an enclosed tube to determine the temperature.
