Its significant, tiered body holds a generous 7 quarts of sunflower seed or peanut chunks, and a baffle between two of the levels keeps this feed evenly divided within the unit, so birds can feed throughout it. The brass colored, steel mesh reservoir allows small birds to cling onto it and reach seed through the 0.5� long and 0.125� wide openings. A perching ring near the top of the piece creates a spot for larger birds to dine and rest. The unit culminates on a 10� diameter, red metal tray, and four ports at the base of the reservoir allow seed to exit onto this platform. The tray�s raised lip adds more perching area for your favorite songbirds, and several drainage holes on it help seed remain dry. This vivid tray matches the 10� diameter roof, which is held in place by two brass colored, metal latches. Swing the latches outward to lift this roof for cleaning and refilling. Use the attached hanger to display this feeder from a hook or bracket, so you can see it from a distance.
