An image of a ruby throated hummingbird in flight is situated above the entry, adding a touch of color and movement to the item. The overhang of the pitched roof extends past the entry hole, protecting the shelter from rain. Wooden shingles cover the roof for added drama, further enhanced by the seafoam paint on its trim. Remove the flattened base to clean the item at the end of the season, and hang the home from a branch or bracket with the attached chain. For added versatility, place the house against a post or wall with the keyhole style back bracket. Made from wood, the roost will certainly add a charming look to your yard, and its unpainted interior remains safe for nestlings.
