Offer suet only to smaller birds using the Stokes Select Caged Double Suet Feeder. The all-metal body and caged design on this piece create a feeder capable of withstanding the elements and squirrels. Two suet holders rest in the center of the item, each made to accommodate a standard suet cake. The 1" square openings on these holders enable birds to reach the treat with ease, and the open tops make cleaning and refilling simple. A round, metal cage with 1.5" square openings surrounds the feeding station, keeping squirrels and larger birds from reaching the suet. The green, metal roof fully covers the item, protecting suet from the elements, and its threaded finial prevents squirrels from opening the lid and stealing the food. A metal hanging ring attached to the finial allows the feeder to be placed on a bracket easily, or for a baffle to be added above it for further squirrel protection. The green hue of the metal roof brings a hint of nature to the unit, while the black, plastic coated rods remain protected from the weather.
