This commercial grade, gas powered motor is perfect for use in areas without electrical outlets readily available, relocating significant amounts of water for quick drainage. The industrial motor uses 86 octane or higher, unleaded gasoline for power, and can handle suspended solids up to 1/2" in diameter. This makes the unit perfect in industrial applications, or in areas with high amounts of sand and pebbles. The aluminum body and semi-open, cast iron impeller ensure a durable pump, and its heavy-duty roll frame helps the item remain stable on a level surface. The 2" inlet and outlet provide unrestricted water flow, and the 4 Hp motor can move up to 143 gallons per minute. A port at the top of the pump allows you to prime it, and a built-in check valve prevents the unit from running dry. Use this chart to determine the proper size pump for your application. The height of the water outlet above the surface of the water is called the Head Height. Gallons Per Minute (GPM) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
