Weather Watching
Spring has finally arrived at BestNest, and it is the perfect time to start watching the weather. Weather often becomes difficult to predict this time of year and changes from hour to hour, so keep ahead of the game with help from our thermometers, weather stations and rain gauges.
The weather is notoriously fickle during the spring. It may rain in the morning, be sunny during the day, and have a few snow flurries in the evening. Keep ahead of the weather with a remote weather station. These items have an outdoor transmitter which reads the temperature and humidity. Some stations even have wind gauges and display wind speed. Most of our weather stations also have barometers, which indicate if the wind pressure is rising or falling. This is most often displayed with an icon noting sunny, cloudy, or rainy weather. As the temperature is wont to change rapidly, indoor and outdoor thermometers are often handy in the spring. We have many window thermometers which indicate the outdoor temperature. These thermometers easily mount to the outside of your window and face inward for the most accurate temperature reading. We also have a line of clock and thermometer combinations created from hardy materials. These items may be used indoors or out, and will display the time and temperature wherever you would like to place them. Our digital thermometers are often easier to read, and we carry projection thermometers which tell you the temperature before you get out of bed. Since spring is an excellent time to begin your garden, you might want to know how much rain you received. We carry both manual and automated rain gauges. Our manual rain gauges feature a calibrated vial. When the rain ceases, the centimeter or inch marks on the vial indicate how much rain has fallen. Digital rain gauges come wireless or wired. Wired rain gauges have a collection unit connected to an indoor display with wire. Wireless gauges feature the same collection unit, but a transmitter in the gauge sends information to the sensor inside your home. You will always know how much to water your garden during the spring months with a rain gauge. Whether you are an amateur meteorologist or just want to be prepared for the day’s weather, we have a large selection of weather stations, thermometers, or rain gauges just right for you. Check out our wide selection of these items and more at www.bestnest.com. If you would like more personal assistance, please email us at [email protected] or call 877-369-5446.
