The outstretched wings are affixed to the body of the blue jay while a joint between them makes for realistic beating movements. The body of the bird is completed by a defined, feathered tail, a head crowned with a prominent crest, and deep blue beak. This attractive blue jay attaches to an arched steel rod completed by a spherical steel counterweight.
