These energy efficient, water cooled pumps are specifically designed for continuous use, and their torpedo shape offers versatility in placing the units. Each item may be placed vertically or horizontally, and be used either submerged or inline. The non-corrosive components ensure safe operation without fear of harm to ornamental fish or aquatic plants, and the pumps are simple to maneuver with their attached, metal loop handles. The threaded outlet on each accepts a 3" FIPT fitting, and these units are ideal for use in large ponds or for creating waterfalls or streams. The 1 Hp direct drive motor in each is capable of turning 9600 gallons of water per hour at 1 foot of head height. Gallons Per Hour (GPH) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
