The bold, red plastic lids snap onto the saucers easily, and 6 ports on each allow several birds to dine. Raised flower shapes around each port prevent water from entering the nectar and sullying it, and an extended ring completes each lid and provides perching spots. A depression in the center of each bowl may be filled with water and act as an ant moat, further protecting the feed, and a brass hanging rod attaches here for placing the units on a bracket. Use a piece of 5/8" dowel or 1/2" copper tubing to display the feeders from the ground for a different effect. The lid snaps off for easy refilling and thorough cleaning, and the polycarbonate construction of each piece offers durability and longevity.
