The 0.875" thick cedar construction lends additional insulation to the item, and the natural color creates a rustic look. The front panel opens downward, preventing nestlings from falling out of the home, and offering a simple way to check the nest or clean the item each season. A metal latch keeps the door securely closed, and the oval entrance hole keeps other birds out. Use the included screws and predrilled mounting holes to attach this home to a post.
