For increased light transmission, XR anti-reflective coatings fully cover all glass surfaces exposed to air, and a phase correction coating adds further contrast and sharpness. The rugged roof prism design keeps the optic both compact and durable, while the rubber armor around the piece offers a secure grip and protected exterior. The included rain guard enables use in wet weather, and O-ring seals prevent water and debris from entering the item. Argon gas purging keeps the item fogproof if any moisture does enter, for a clear view. An ultra-hard, scratch resistant coating on the exterior lenses further protects them from fingerprints and scratches, and the objective lenses can be covered with the included tethered lens covers as well. Keep the bird in clear view with the center focus wheel, which adjusts both barrels simultaneously. A locking diopter on the right eyepiece can also be adjusted to correct any user vision imbalances, and the eyecups twist up and down to precise settings to accommodate those with eyeglasses. The optic magnifies items 15 times, and is simple to transport with its included neck strap. Use the included padded carrying case for additional protection or storage. For even more versatility, place the binocular on a tripod or car window mount using an adapter (not included).
