The 0.25" thick PVC resin seed reservoir has a birch tree pattern, complete with shadows and contours to evoke texture. A faux wood grain on the recycled plastic roof furthers the theme. This bold seed tube holds 1.2 quarts of thistle seed, and the four ports allow a few birds to dine at once. Each port is crafted from lexan plastic and surrounded by sturdy metal to prevent seed loss and add strength. This reservoir has a vent on the bottom for air passage, keeping seed fresh, and the clever snap-out base enables the unit to be disassembled without tools for thorough cleanings. Clips on the roof keep it locked into place, protecting seed from wind and moisture, and the roof lifts up on the attached hanger for easy refills.
