Frustrate squirrels and keep your bird seed safe with the Vari-Crafts Caged Avian Mixed Seed Bird Feeder. This bold unit features a squirrel resistant design that also provides a safe haven for small songbirds. The 1.5" green vinyl-coated square fencing creates perching for lots of small songbirds while resisting squirrels and preventing larger birds from feeding. The feeder tube is made of 0.25" thick, high-density PVC resin for a lasting unit. The 1.5 quart capacity is perfect for mixed seed, and the six feeding stations each have a perch for individual birds to feed. The clear lexan plastic feeding stations keep seed levels visible and add a bit of texture to the piece. The reservoir is vented to eliminate condensation and keep seed fresh and dry, and the cap is easily removable for quick filling. The ingenious clip lock system with metal clips keeps the cap in place, preventing squirrels from lifting it to eat their fill. The green metal base prevents seed waste and adds color to the item.
