Place a generous and lasting feeder in your bird sanctuary using the Vari-Crafts Avian Mixed Seed Bird Feeder. This bold item combines storage, style, and function for an impressive feeder. The top of the unit has a 12.25" diameter conical reservoir, which protects the seed tube from the elements and also holds a massive 9.5 quarts (2.375 gallons) of seed. This reservoir empties into the 0.25" thick, high-density PVC resin seed tube as needed, reducing the number of trips you make outside to fill the feeder. This generous feeder is perfect for mixed seed, and the six feeding stations each have a perch for individual birds to feed. The clear lexan plastic ports keep seed levels visible, and the metal reinforcements around each station add strength and stability. The reservoir is vented to eliminate condensation and keep seed fresh and dry, and the cap is easily removable for refilling the reservoir as necessary. The ingenious clip lock system with metal clips keeps the cap in place, so squirrels are not able to lift it and eat their fill. The green metal base prevents seed waste and offers additional birds a place to dine. Hang this feeder from a sturdy branch or hook with the included 5" stainless steel hanger.
