These 20, recycled plastic sleeves handily surround small saplings, and the units vary in size from 3.5" to 4.75" in diameter for plenty of versatility. The light color of each tube allows sunlight to reach the leaves of your trees, and holes on the top half offer ventilation. A cuffed top and base protect bark from jagged edges, and an included, elasticized net covers the top of each tube to prevent birds from flying into them. Couple each protector with a wooden stake of the same height (not included), and slide the preinstalled zip ties over the stake for added support.
