A blue plastic dish can hold up to 0.25 quarts of seed, dried mealworms, suet nuggets, or fruit, to attract birds which do not usually visit feeders. Drainage holes on each corner and along the edge of the tray help seed stay dry and fresh on this side. The clear dish has no base openings, enabling it to securely hold water, jelly, or live mealworms. Each tray snaps into place on the metal frame in moments, and a raised node on each side of the trays helps them stay securely connected. The metal frame loops outward on two sides of each tray, creating additional perching for birds. A threaded hanging rod with sturdy loop attaches to the center of the metal frame, so the feeder can be hung from a bracket or branch with ease. The dishes remove from the frame quickly for thorough cleaning, and refill in moments. For added versatility, replace one of the trays with the Stokes Select Snack 'N Treats Orange Dish (not included) to offer more food or better attract orioles.
