The long arm leans slightly forward, positioning your adornments outward and over the side of the deck. The sturdy clamp attaches to horizontal deck rails from 0.75" to 2" thick, and the hefty thumbscrew keeps it in place. For added stability, use a screw through the pilot hole at the top of the clamp to attach it firmly to the deck rail. A sleeve on the back of the clamp holds the arm in place, and a hand knob on this section allows the grip to be loosened. You may then swing the arm inward toward the deck for maintaining your item. Place the basket or feeder back into its desired viewing position and tighten the hand knob again to lock it in place. The generous arm can accommodate large items, and its mottled green color blends with any outdoor setting.
