Not only does this unit add bold color to your yard, its innovative top acts as a rain guard, ant moat, and shade simultaneously. A clear plastic reservoir creates the center of this bottle style feeder, with a red dome and base. The 8" diameter dome protects the nectar from rain, so it stays pure. It also offers a bit of shade, preventing rapid nectar spoilage. A depression at the top of the dome is designed to be filled with water, creating a moat to deter ants. The clear reservoir holds 20 ounces of nectar, and four white flowers around the base create feeding ports. Fully crafted from plastic, this item is a perfect introduction to hummingbird feeders, and also lasts for several seasons. The entire piece disassembles, for thorough cleaning or easy seasonal storage. Use the included metal "S" hook to hang this feeder from a hook, so your hummingbirds can find it.
