Offer your avian friends a stylish bathing spot with the Kensington Gardens Two-Tier Solar Fountain Bird Bath. The timeless detailing and textured finish combine with the excitement of a fountain for a lovely and dramatic birding accent. Adding moving water to your bird garden helps attract a wider variety of birds to it, as well as prevents the water from becoming stagnant. The flat, round base on this unit leads to a lengthy column, complete with fluted detailing around the pedestal for added interest. Extra ornamentation on the base and top of the stand brings dimension to the piece. A 19.5" diameter bird bath rests on top of the pillar, with a 10.625" diameter tier situated in the center of the bath for height. The adornments on this tier match those on the pedestal, for a lovely and cohesive effect. A wide rim on the bottom bowl creates perching room for many birds, and the 3" depth is perfect for small and large birds alike. A solar panel sits in the center of the upper tier, with a bubbler opening in its center. The included pump rests beneath this tier, and is easily powered by the solar panel. When placed in full sunlight, the solar panel causes the pump to run, which will move the water up through the top outlet, for a fun bubbler effect. This water will exit the tier through the four spouts, creating a gentle splash into the basin. The light tan color of the bath evokes stone, furthered by the textured finish. In addition, this texture helps birds grip the interior of the bath. The resin construction lasts for several seasons, and the unit disassembles in moments for convenient winter storage.
