S&K Telescoping Bat House Pole with Ground Socket, Gray, 15'

The S&K Telescoping Bat House Pole features four telescoping pieces of aircraft aluminum that expand to 15 feet to support bat houses up to 20 pounds. The pole has a triangular shape for increased strength and is easy to raise and lower with the included locks. A plastic bat house adapter is included for mounting your bat house to the pole. For easy removal, an included 18" ground socket may be used.

The bat house adapter should be attached via screws into the back of your bat house. Screws are not included.

If you wish to use the ground socket, you should dig a hole 18" deep and 12" wide. Tape one end of the ground socket to be sure that concrete does not fill the inside and place it in the center of the hole. Pour concrete around the ground socket (pole may be used to level the ground socket, but should not be left in place as the concrete cures). Be sure to wait until the concrete has cured before placing the pole with bat house into the ground socket.

Note: We recommend using two Bat House Poles for larger houses such as the OBC Five-Celled Bat House.
