This Solids Handling Direct Drive Pump is ideal for powering a waterfall or stream under the demands of a high head height. Only a direct drive pump can offer a reliable pressure at an extreme head height. In the event of this pump overheating, its thermal overload protector will automatically shut off the pump for a cooling period of 15-20 minutes. This pump's direct drive motor is capable of turning 1450 gallons per hour. This pump's outlet accepts a 1.25" MIPT threaded fitting. This sturdy pump is perfect for powering a waterfall, biofilter, or stream in your backyard water feature. One year warranty.
Pump Performance
Use this chart to determine the proper size pump for your pond. The height of the water outlet above the surface of the pond is called the Head Height. Gallons Per Hour (GPH) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
