The Rubicon North American Bluebird Society (NABS) Approved Two-Toned Nesting Box isn't just a great house for bluebirds, it's also great for the environment. Made from recycled milk jugs, the plastic lumber construction helps keep plastic out of landfills and prevents deforestation and destruction of natural bluebird habitats. This house's design also features many details that make it a perfect choice for your bluebirds: a ventilation slot under the roof helps regulate the temperature to a safe level for nestlings; the sloping roof, floor, and inside drainage hole keep the house dry and comfortable; and a predator guard reinforces the perchless entrance hole to deter intruders. The incredibly durable plastic lumber will not fade, crack, peel, chip, rot, or warp with time. Unscrew the lock and slide the front panel off to observe nest activity and discard deserted nests.
