Both the front and back of this home are made from ply board, with a soft blue background and orange flowers throughout them. The two side panels are crafted from clear plastic, forming a reservoir which holds 1 quart of sunflower or mixed seed. The clear panels keep seed levels visible, while gaps at the bottom allow it to exit onto the attached tray. Both wooden sides have arched openings near the base, for additional dining spots for birds. A circular opening on the front panel offers an extra dining or resting spot, and the bright orange, wooden circle around it keeps it easily identifiable. The galvanized steel lid protects seed from moisture, and a hole in each corner of the base enables water to drain. A stylized bird shape, twig, and marble above the roof help keep it closed while bringing charm to the unit, and the attached cable enables it to be hung. Attach an adapter (not included) to the base of the feeder to pole mount it for versatility. The ply board frame creates a sturdy piece, and the plastic panels may be removed for thorough cleaning.
