Renderings of martini glasses with bird silhouettes occupy the front and back wooden panels on this feeder, for a fun touch to the item. These green, blue, and red accents contrast the yellow body, furthering the effect. Clear plastic forms the two side panels, creating a seed reservoir which keeps feed levels visible. The reservoir holds 1 quart of mixed, sunflower, or safflower seed, and gaps beneath each of the plastic sides allows birds to reach it. Arches on the wooden front and back of the unit create additional feeding spots, and the flat, square tray helps the seed stay contained. An open circle on the front panel forms a dining or resting spot, and an orange, wooden circle around it keeps it visible. The galvanized steel lid protects seed from moisture, and a hole in each corner of the base enables water to drain. A stylized bird shape, twig, and marble above the roof help keep it closed while bringing charm to the unit, and the attached cable enables it to be hung. Connect an adapter (not included) to the base of the feeder to pole mount it for versatility. The ply board frame creates a sturdy piece, and the plastic panels may be removed for thorough cleaning.
