The hexagonal roof and base form a gazebo frame, and the green color offsets your foliage. Faux shingles on the roof add extra detailing, as does the raised top. This cap locks onto the top of the hexagonal reservoir, keeping the item sturdy and preventing seed loss. The reservoir accommodates 1 quart of mixed or sunflower seed. Gaps at the base of each panel create places for birds to dine, and holes along the base keep seed dry. A wire cable runs through the feeder, enabling it to be hung in your garden. The plastic construction is perfect for children or other beginning birders, and its size allows several to be placed in the yard for multiple feeding stations.
