The familiar shape of this unit brings rustic charm to your setting, and its generous size and bright green color help attract attention. A hexagonal seed reservoir is flanked by a green, plastic base and cap, with a faux shingle effect on the roof for added detail. This reservoir holds 5 quarts of a variety of seed. Plastic panels inside the reservoir divide it into thirds, so you may use all the same type seed, or place a different seed in each compartment to attract specific birds. The cap snaps securely onto the top of the feeder, held in place by tension locks on three of the panels. A gap at the base of each panel enables birds to dine in several places, while a raised lip around the base adds perching area. Additional openings on the feeder tray help water drain, so seed stays dry and fresh. A wire cable runs through the item so it may hang virtually anywhere in your garden. The plastic construction is perfect for children or other beginning birders, and seed levels are easily monitored through the clear reservoir.
