Each of the four corners on the square reservoir is cut at an angle, creating an octagonal tube to contrast the square top and base. The twelve ports all rest on these flattened corners, and each has an individual port for the comfort of smaller birds. A green, square plastic base tray captures any spilled seed, and caters to larger birds so they may feed as well. Drainage holes on this tray prevent seed from spoiling, and a pyramid shaped roof covers the unit. The innovative "evenfeed" system in the reservoir distributes seed to the three feeder levels, and allows them to empty at an equal pace rather than from the top downward. This helps prevent seed from ruin for a safe and healthy station. The seed tube holds 5 quarts of mixed seed, and the sturdy metal hook offers versatile placement for the item.
