| Perky Pet Instant Hummingbird Nectar, Clear, 8 oz. Keep your hummingbird feeders full using this Perky Pet Instant Hummingbird Nectar. This powdered concentrate dissolves easily in cold water and will make up to 48 ounces of hummingbird nectar. Simply mix one heaping teaspoon of the powder for every two ounces of nectar the feeder holds, and fill the vessel the rest of the way with water. This allows you to create the feed directly in the feeder, with no messy transportation. For storing nectar, mix the entire 8 ounce packet with 6 cups of water to keep your hummingbirds fed. No color or artificial sweeteners added. Offer your little fliers an easy nectar with this Instant Hummingbird Nectar. Made in the USA.
Many prefer using instant nectar because it can be conveniently made without boiling water; however, hummingbird nectar may be made at home by boiling water and mixing in white granulated sugar. Check out our directions for making Hummingbird Nectar at home.
Note: We do not recommend adding any dye or food coloring to nectar as research indicates that artificial dyes and coloring may be harmful to the birds and it is not necessary for attracting them.
