The slim silhouette and submersible design of the pump allow it to fit into most skimmer compartments. Its high efficiency, vortex impeller offers energy savings, and the ceramic shaft and bearings create a dramatic feature with high water output. The significant, screened inlet guards the pump from larger solids, while the included pump bag can add an extra layer of protection against finer debris if desired. Unlike sealed-motor pumps, the rotor assembly in this unit may be removed for maintenance, and a self-resetting thermal overload switch ensures the item does not overheat. The corrosion-resistant, long lasting plastic casing will withstand the rigors of constant submersion. This hybrid pump is specifically designed to power waterfalls or streams in medium ponds.
