Circulating air throughout aquariums and ponds maintains a healthy environment and ensures that all aquatic life receives proper oxygenation. This pump features a plastic chassis with removable lid and 7.75" air diffuser with 14 air outlets. To install this aerator, simply attach 3/4" internal diameter tubing to the pump's outlet valve, secure the diffuser to the other end, and place the diffuser in the water. Be sure to weigh down the diffuser with a brick, as it is quite buoyant when filled with air. Also, ensure that the aerator is out of the water and protected from the elements. Using only 50 watts of power, this unit can aerate up to 5500 cubic inches of water per minute and can accommodate up to a 7000 gallon pond. This aerator is designed to run quietly and inconspicuously and may be used with large aquariums as well.
