Pondmaster External Pond Pump, 2500 gph

Enhance your water garden with a stream or keep the water circulating in your pool or spa using the Pondmaster External Pond Pump. This dynamic, heavy-duty pump offers high volume water flow to your falls or pool, while remaining out of the pond for easy maintenance. A black plastic foot on each side of the pump body elevates it above the ground, and holes on the feet enable the item to be safely bolted to an equipment pad (not included) or the ground. The vortex impeller and lasting motor have automatic thermal overload protection, turning off if the unit overheats to extend the life of the piece. Attach the included 1.5" check valve near the pump inlet to ensure the pump remains primed. The 0.75 Hp motor uses a standard 115 volt outlet for power, and its 72" long cord allows for versatile placement. Use a Pondmaster Universal Debris Basket for External Pumps (not included) with this pump to capture any debris before it reaches the impeller. Two 1.5" MNPT fittings are also included in the package to connect the pump to tubing or piping easily. Keep your pool, spa, or waterfall running beautifully with this External Pond Pump. Pump Performance
Use this chart to determine the proper size pump for your pond. The height of the water outlet above the surface of the pond is called the Head Height. Gallons Per Hour (GPH) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
