Unlike most other pumps on the market, magnetic drive pumps are made to run continuously, without seals to wear out. Magnetic drive pumps are highly energy efficient, using less energy than direct driven pumps, and they may potentially save hundreds of dollars over time. Being filled with epoxy, rather than oil, these pumps cannot leak oil into the pond, which can be harmful or fatal to fish and plants. Pondmaster's magnetic drive pumps are low-maintenance with only one moving part, a ceramic shaft and impeller. The pumps also feature an ABS case, corrosion-proof fasteners, and heavy duty copper windings, resulting in a durable, energy-efficient, and long lasting pump.
The Pondmaster Magnetic Drive Waterfall Pump is ideally suited for piped statuary and waterfalls. This completely submersible pump will run quietly and faithfully while operating your waterfall or driving a skimmer. The pump features an extra large clog resistant filter screen and 20' grounded power cord. The pump's adapter is equipped to accept 1.5" threaded fittings, and offers a maximum pumping height of 13.15 feet. The included check valve prevents water from backflowing into the pump. Use this chart to determine the proper size pump for your pond. The height of the water outlet above the surface of the pond is called the Head Height. Gallons Per Hour (GPH) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
