This unit adds the sound of running water to your garden, enhancing your pond like no other accent. The item creates a biological filter and waterfall easily. Install the filter at the top of your pond or stream, and secure the spillway directly to the main unit using the included screws and silicone sealant. Connect your tubing from the pump to the included 1.5" bulkhead at the back of the filter, or plug this bulkhead and place one where desired. Water will enter the base of the spillway and be moved upward, passing through the swirl chamber and then the included biological media. This media is contained in a mesh bag, which allows water to penetrate and trickle easily through it. The water then passes through a grate for more polishing, and exits the item from the 17.5" spillway, for a truly dramatic water feature. This versatile filtration unit offers the potential for amazing custom installations that you may adapt to use for your application. Use the ProLine Biological Waterfall Filter to create a beneficial and interesting accent to your water garden. This filter is best suited for water flows up to 5,000 gallons per hour.
