| Pentair Dynamo Two-Speed Above-Ground Pump, 4700 gph @ 10' Pentair Dynamo Two-Speed Above-Ground Pumps feature a superior design that offers the ultimate in efficiency. Their hydraulic design has been refined to deliver excellent flow with less friction and less noise while using smaller horse power motors. Perfect for use in water garden, pool, and Koi pond applications, these external pumps keep maintenance convenient. The large strainer basket and see-through lid permits fewer services and easy inspection. Their unique diffuser and impeller provide excellent pressure performance at a wide range of gallon-per-hour flow rates. Easy to remove drain plugs on the strainer basket and pump chamber make end of season maintenance a breeze.
This Dynamo Two-Speed Above-Ground Pump is self-priming to protect its internal components and ensure a long life. This pump offers a maximum flow of 4700 gph at 10' of head. Operate the pump under its low speed setting to achieve half the flow and a quarter of the pressure that high speed produces. This pump is equipped to accept 1.5" NPT threaded fittings. One year limited warranty.
For best pump performance, install this pump out of direct sunlight within 3' of the water surface level.
Note: This pump does not include a power cord. A 14 gauge wire (not included) is recommended for most applications.
Pump Performance
Use this chart to determine the proper size pump for your application. The height of the water outlet above the surface of the water is called the Head Height. Gallons Per Hour (GPH) represents the maximum amount of water your pump is capable of pushing at a given Head Height. To ensure the pump's best possible performance, reduce frictional losses by using the largest diameter hose possible.
