The ceramic vessel is based on custard cups from the 18th century, for an antique hint on the piece. A hand-painted blue leaf pattern surrounds the top of the feeder, with a black line through the center of the leaves for added interest. Red paint in a flower shape surrounds each of the two feeding ports, while a red band brings more color to the piece. The vessel holds 10 ounces of nectar, and a cap at the top keeps it protected from insects. The feeder rests in the included black metal hanger, and a 2.5" "S" hook allows for versatile placement. This hand-painted unit highlights the talent of its creator, and the ceramic construction is glazed both inside and out for easy cleaning.
