This unique instrument makes monitoring watering levels simple, and is a perfect addition to your plant watering repertoire. The 6.75" long probe inserts into the soil of your plant, and is deep enough to reach toward the roots. This probe connects to the top gauge, and a needle on this gauge notes whether the soil is dry, moist, or wet in both colors and numerals. The numerals 1 through 3 are in red, noting a dry soil, 4 through 7 are green, for a moist area, and numerals 8 through 10 are in blue, indicating a wet environment. The green hue of the plastic housing meshes with your plants, and the metal probe remains durable for use over and over again.
