The three tubes each hold 0.9 quarts of seed, for a total 2.7 quart capacity. Each of the tubes has four ports, and a perch on each port enables several birds to rest and dine at once. The dynamic ports may also be adjusted to feed either mixed seed or thistle seed, for an extra variety of birds in your garden. Rotate the port so the small slit is directed downward to feed thistle, or rotate it so the larger opening allows birds to reach safflower or sunflower seed. A raised section at the base of each tube acts as a baffle, keeping seed moving to the lowest ports, and the bottom tray has a lip around it for extra avian feeding room. The tray and tubes all have drainage holes so seed stays fresh, and the large, 11.75" diameter roof protects seed further from moisture. The wide mouth at the top of each tube helps you fill it easily, and the plastic construction is perfect for beginning birders.
