| Opus Squirrel-Be-Gone II Bird Feeder Keep squirrels out of your bird seed using the Opus Squirrel-Be-Gone II Bird Feeder. The weight-sensitive design and durable metal construction of this item help your bird seed remain safe from marauding squirrels. A thick plastic frame creates a seed reservoir, with lovely gray metal around the entire unit for added heft and squirrel resistance. Windows throughout the metal casing allow you to monitor seed levels, while adding a modern look to the item. The scalloped effect on the roof furthers the look, and a tab at the top of the lid locks it in place so animals may not lift it and steal seed. A weight-sensitive perch at the front of the unit enables birds to feed, while closing access to seed when larger animals attempt to feed. For added effectiveness, adjust the knob on the end of the perch to accommodate more or less weight, depending upon the birds you wish to feed. The rectangular seed reservoir holds 6.1 quarts of seed, and the base angles downward to act as a baffle, preventing messy buildup. A sturdy cable runs through the body so the item may be hung, while an integrated socket on the base allows you to pole mount the feeder to a 0.75" outer diameter pole (not included).
