The significant, steel mesh reservoir narrows in the center and widens at both the top and base, forming an hourglass silhouette. The item holds 3.4 quarts of sunflower seed, peanut chunks, or other large seed, and its unique design enables many birds to feed at once. Smaller, clinging birds can hold onto the mesh and reach seed through the 0.5� long, 0.125� wide openings. For larger birds, two perching rings offer spots for them to eat. The brass colored finish and slight iridescence enhance your foliage, creating an elegant hint in your yard. The 9� diameter roof lifts upward to fill the item, and is held in place by two latches. A solid metal base keeps the seed contained, and its slightly raised center acts as a baffle, directing seed toward the sides of the piece.
