The straight lines and rectangular body create an appealing piece, with beaded panels on the front and back for added interest. The top and base of the item both flare outward, bringing classic design to it. The generous planter has an innovative, hidden water reservoir, which keeps your plants healthy and reduces waterings over time. This sub-irrigation system sits between the walls of the unit, and is easily filled using the holes on the interior of the item. A discrete overflow hole on the planter base indicates when the reservoir is full. Use lightweight filler on the bottom of the unit to maximize the effectiveness of this hidden trough. Once your plant roots grow into the bottom, they can pull water from the reservoir to remain hydrated. The light tan color of the planter lends an earthen tone to your home, while the molded polyethylene construction and double wall design keep it weather resistant. Use the included steel brackets to attach this item to a wall easily. Combine beautiful plants with striking architecture on your house using this Cape Cod Window Planter. Made in the USA.
