The straight lines and rectangular body create a dramatic piece, with beaded panels on each side for added interest. The top and base of the planter both flare outward, bringing stability and design to the unit. This generous planter has an innovative water reservoir, allowing your plant roots to grow strong and reduce waterings. This sub-irrigation system sits at the bottom of the piece, and can be filled using the holes on the interior of the item. A discrete drainage hole on one side of the frame indicates when the reservoir is full. Use lightweight filler on the bottom of the planter to maximize the effectiveness of this reservoir. Once your plant roots grow into the bottom, they can pull water from the hidden trough to remain hydrated. The vivid white color adds a light and classic look, while the molded polyethylene construction and double wall design keep the unit weather resistant. Its flat base may be placed on any level surface, for a lovely planting area indoors or out. Combine beautiful plants with striking architecture using this Cape Cod Patio Planter. Made in the USA.
