Its wide base is stable when placed on a level surface, and the unit offers plenty of planting room for a few flowers or a favorite shrub. Crafted from durable, dual-walled polyethylene, this planter withstands the elements for use over and over again. For a surprising bit of function, a hidden water reservoir rests between these two walls to help you grow healthy and hydrated plants. This sub-irrigation system may be filled with water via the holes on the planter base, until water begins to run out of the small overflow hole on one side of the unit. Once your shrub�s roots grow into the base of the planter, their capillary action will draw the water to them, for a self-watering design. For added effectiveness, be sure to use lightweight filler on the bottom of the planter. The item's vivid white color will contrast your blooms or herbs, and the polyethylene construction looks great with little maintenance.
