A dramatic, A-line copper roof protects the interior, and gingerbread detailing beneath the roof lends further style to the piece. Each of the 8 apartments is perfect for a bird family, with drainage on the base of each to keep nests dry. The ventilation slots and cypress construction ensure that birds do not overheat, while withstanding use outdoors for many seasons. The flat, square base and included mounting plate make placing this unit on a 4 x 4 post simple, and the roof removes for seasonal cleaning.
