An all cypress body has scoring on it to mimic tree bark, with a 1.5" diameter hole in the center of the front panel evoking a natural crevice. This entry hole enables birds to reach the interior of the home, for a safe roost. Ventilation gaps beneath the roof help regulate the temperature inside the abode, and a drainage hole in the center of the floor allows captured water to exit. The significant, bronze and light green roof covering the home resembles a wizard's cap, with copper flashing along each ridge for added color. A matching, copper cleanout panel on the back enables you to check the nest seasonally. The flat base accommodates the included mounting plate so the home can easily be placed on a 4" by 4" post.
