Bring the style of your bird sanctuary to new heights with the Heartwood Empire State Bird House. The body of this hexagonal home flares outward as it rises, culminating in a dramatic verdigris roof. A black metal perching ring surrounds the home, held in place by metal swirls for added effect and the comfort of your birds. A tall white spire forms the top of the home, offering additional height and a finishing touch. The four 1.5" diameter entrance holes offer passage for your favorite backyard birds. The bottom level of the home offers a roost for one bird family, and a copper cleanout panel on the back allows for nest checks on that compartment. The three additional entrance holes rest on the top level of the home, and may be accessed by removing the roof. A small gap between the roof and the house offers ventilation for your birds, helping regulate the internal temperature. The bright white paint on the home contrasts the verdigris finish on the copper roof for a timeless feel, and the wooden construction offers several seasons of use. Use the included mounting plate to mount this home to a wooden 4" x 4" post (not included) for even more height and drama. Elevate the look of your bird sanctuary with this Empire State Bird House.
