Integrate functional sculpture into your garden with the Heartwood Lantern Loft Bird House. The body of this home is reminiscent of a lantern, with a wide base and top and inset interior. The square shape of the body contrasts the pyramid shaped copper roof, and the braided accent around the base of the roof adds more interest. The 1.375" diameter entrance hole allows small songbirds access to the home, while excluding larger birds. A drainage hole at the base helps nests stay dry, while a removable copper panel on the back enables nest checks and periodic cleaning. A black, powder coated metal ring arches above the roof, completing the lantern look and offering a way to hang the home. Use a mounting bracket (not included) to pole mount this house if desired, for more versatility. The weathered finish of the roof accents the natural color of the mahogany roost, adding a classic elegance to the piece. Delight the birds in your yard with this Lantern Loft Bird House.
