The copper roof perfectly enhances the mahogany home, and will patina over time for dramatic contrast. A ribbon shaped detail above the 1.5" diameter entrance hole helps welcome your bird friends. Drainage holes in the floor of the cottage help keep it dry, and ventilation slots under the eaves aid in regulating the interior temperature. A copper disc on the back of the home acts as a clean out and observation panel, for regular nest checks.
